It is not easy for Ramna to comprehend Umar’s past and the decisions he has made, while her reactions compel Umar to reconsider his own approach, compelling them to reflect on their situation. External threats also interfere in their affairs. This very conflict between love and revenge sustains the novel’s suspense.
In the concluding stages, the protagonists view their relationship and past events from a new perspective. A bond initially clouded by compulsion and misunderstanding begins to reveal emotional truths. The impact of Umar’s vengeful attitude and Ramna’s apprehensions becomes evident.
